No - sale-readiness is now a specialised service line. Our flagship is Claude Implementation. Sale-readiness sits alongside it for owners on a 1-3 year exit window who want their business to be visibly worth more by the time it goes to market. Many owners use Claude Implementation, Custom Builds and Automations on the way - the AI work is what creates the operational story buyers pay for.
Who is sale-readiness for?+
Founder-led businesses doing $2M-$200M in revenue, 12-36 months from sale, where the team is still on manual workflows and the owner is the bottleneck on most decisions. If you're already running a tight, AI-native operation, you probably don't need this - you need a clean DD package.
How long does the engagement run?+
Typically 6-36 months end to end - Diagnose (2 weeks), Build (6-12 months), Stay (optional, through DD). The right length depends on how far the business is from a tight, evidenceable operating story today.
How is this different from an M&A advisor?+
M&A advisors broker the deal. We make the business worth more before the deal happens. We're operators who install systems - not deal-makers. Most clients use both: us through Build and Stay, an advisor through transaction.
What's the price?+
Pricing depends on the size and shape of the business - we give an honest fixed quote after a discovery call. The rough rule: the engagement should return a multiple of cost on the exit value, not be a small fraction of it.
